Cuddledry Poncho
As a baby swimming teacher and mum I understand what it's like, and how unsettling it can be, to get a wriggling and slippery baby or toddler out of the water and dried. I'd heard about cuddledry and been intrigued, so, when asked to review the cuddledry spf50+ poncho towel I couldn't refuse.
I was looking forward to receiving the poncho to try; it arrived promptly and beautifully packaged. It is made of natural materials – bamboo and cotton – and is both incredibly soft and super absorbent. There is a lot of space around the hood which is great as my daughter dislikes passing anything too tight over her head, whilst at the same time is great for drawing water away from her head keeping her warm after swimming in the cooler months. It is equally useful in the Summer. On a recent holiday destination in the sun my daughter was happy to wear the poncho for hours on the beach and it is reassuring to know that the spf50 provides protection against the suns rays on delicate skin. The other useful feature is poppers under the arms which help to ensure the poncho is kept in place keeping her both safe and ensuring maximum dryness! It is a perfect size for my daughter as it is long enough to cover her legs without dragging on the floor.
I've found the cuddledry poncho to be a very much more practical and useful item for drying after swimming than the traditional baby/toddler towels and it has remained soft after several washes.
My only wish now is that they were made in adult sizes!
